Chasing Lincoln’s Killer Summary

I read Chasing Lincoln’s killer by James L. Swanson

Chasing Lincoln’s Killer is about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. During the Civil War Lincoln was President, which was a very rough time in America’s history. Almost all American’s strongly supported the North, or the South.  John Wilkes Booth was one of those people. Despite the fact that Booth lived and worked in the North, he was a firm supporter of the Confederacy. He hated Lincoln and Lincoln’s policies. That is why he made a group that would plot out how to murder or kidnap the President. This book talks about how he does that. Who does it, and what happens after they get caught.

Read this book to find out what happens.

How to comment?

Hello Readers,

Today I am going to explain how to write a good comment.

First you need to find a posts that you like and want to comment on. Then look as these tips on writing a good comment

  1. You can compliment the writer: Ex. You can compliment them on something they wrote, maybe they wrote a good simile and you liked it. You can say I liked the simile you wrote because…
  2. You can also add new information to their blog. This can keep the conversation going, and it also gives the writer more information that they could add in in a new blog.
  3. Another thing that you can comment to keep a conversation going is to write a connection. For example, maybe a blog said they like a certain soccer team. You can say in a comment that you like that team too, and say why you like them? Then you can ask why they like that team. This leads to the next tip.
  4. The best way to keep a conversation is to ask a question. This question can be about anything. It can be about something that is unclear, you can ask why they chose this topic, and many more questions.

You can do anyone of these tips, but for all of them be sure to do this.

  • make sure nobody wrote the same comment as you
  • be very specific about what you say
  • MOST IMPORTANT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO SPELLING OR GRAMMAR MISTAKES
